About Us
It is estimated that some 653,000 inmates will be released from prisons and jails across this country this year alone. Whether they return to lives of crime or as productive, responsible members of society depends on their attitude and whatever preparation they received while locked up, and how they are treated and viewed by their communities. This is called the "re-entry" or "aftercare" period. An increasing number of organizations and government agencies now assist the re-entry process through providing training, food, shelter, and in some cases, preparation during the inmates' pre-release period.
Return To Honor addresses another–and critical–part of the equation, which is assisting prospective employers and related support groups in better understanding the value and benefits of providing jobs that will enable former offenders to integrate back into society as useful, contributing members of it.
The inspirational speech and workshop topics that help those preparing for re-entry adjust their outlook, attitude and interpersonal skills for life on the outside also create stronger individual and team skill-sets in those who've never been in "the system".
