A Message from your Chamber

To the Business Leaders in our Chamber Network:
Like many of you, the San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce is monitoring the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19). As a resource for our network, the Chamber wants to make sure our members have access to up-to-date information on the situation and its impact on our businesses. We will keep you updated on any changes of events or cancellations that we hear about. Here are some links for you:

Letter from Brad Williamson, President Islanders Bank

The ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has rightfully caused concern across our country; especially here in Washington State where the worst outcomes of the virus have been experienced.  Islanders Bank has planned for various health and environmental emergencies and is prepared to continue serving the financial needs of our community throughout such situations.

Staying Healthy Can Bee 🐝 FUN!

Delphina, an instructor at ALTAR Movement Studio

I am preparing to teach next Saturday and I’m looking forward to getting cozy and sharing a Wellness Toddy with those coming! We’re going to make the toddy with honey that I brought back from Cuba that’s high in propolis and of therapeutic quality.

Letter from Anna Coffelt, Mullis Center Manager

At the Mullis Center, we're working to make a safe, proactive, and appropriately-scaled response to the spread of the novel coronavirus. Our thoughts go to the communities, both internationally and here in Washington State, where this illness has taken lives, and to all communities and their most vulnerable members.

Soroptimist St. Patrick's Day Extravaganza Canceled

With an abundance of caution and respect for the health of our island community, Soroptimist International of Friday Harbor has canceled  our St Patrick's Day Extravaganza annual fundraising event scheduled for Saturday, March 14th. We have come to this difficult decision in light of the San Juan County Public Health Department's recommendation that gatherings of 10 or more people should be avoided.
We appreciate your ongoing support and are hoping to reschedule a comparable event in the future. Ticket holders for the event and the generous live and silent auction donors will be contacted by a Soroptimist this week. If you have any questions please reach out to us at
