About HOA Incorporated - Meals on Wheels
H.O.A., Incorporated of Austin County is the senior citizens project for Austin County, Texas, whose goal is to identify and address the needs of senior citizens in Austin County through programs which promote independent living for the elderly. HOA is funded by the Houston-Galveston Area Council Area Agency on Aging, client contributions, public support, and through fundraising events. Additionally, HOA makes an application to the county to be included in the annual county budget.
HOA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization governed by a board of directors with individuals of diverse backgrounds which includes representatives from local and county governments, retirees, and citizens at large. Annually, the board elects an executive committee which consists of a Chairman, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Daily operations are managed by an Executive Director. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, a support staff and many caring volunteers assist in providing the needed services.
