Welcome to the Austin County Fair Association, an enduring symbol of agricultural excellence and community spirit since its establishment in 1927. Our roots trace back to the Bellville Community Fair Association, originally comprising a humble cohort of five directors united in their passion for promoting agricultural and horticultural endeavors through the showcasing of livestock and farm products.
In a stride toward inclusivity and to honor the entirety of our region, our association swiftly evolved into the Austin County Fair, expanding its reach to embrace the entire county. Not even the tumultuous era of World War II could deter our commitment to fostering agricultural appreciation and growth within our community.
Throughout the years, the Austin County Fair has burgeoned in both scope and significance. Today, our dedicated cause is championed by a robust team of 50 directors, each representing diverse sectors of our thriving county. The heartbeat of our success lies in the unwavering support of hundreds of committed committeemen, tireless volunteers, generous sponsors, and enthusiastic buyers. Together, they fortify our mission, propelling the Austin County Fair to greater heights with each passing year.
