Welcome to Hailiang Copper Texas Inc., a strategic initiative of Hailiang Co., Ltd., founded in October 2018 with the vision of establishing a cutting-edge copper tube production facility in Sealy, Houston. This ambitious project represents a significant investment of $150 million and encompasses three phases, featuring three continuous casting and rolling copper tube production lines with a collective designed capacity of 100,000 tons. Specializing in the manufacturing of industrial pipes, pancake pipes for the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry, and small-caliber waterways for construction applications, Hailiang Copper Texas is poised to become a key player in the American market.
Our production base boasts a prime location with convenient access off Interstate 10. Covering an expansive 200-acre area, the facility includes 8 plants and office buildings, totaling 928,000 square feet of construction space. Notably, 43% of the site has been leased to Valerus Petroleum Engineering Company for a decade, demonstrating our commitment to collaborative partnerships. Additionally, we plan to lease the remaining plants to third parties or our sister company, JMF Company, for the assembly, storage, and distribution of insulation pipe products. The new plant, situated on land lot NO.13 (67 acres), signifies a significant step forward in our mission to enhance manufacturing capabilities and customer service coverage in the American market.
