Your BBB maintains reports on over 20,000 companies - reports that help drive customers to reputable businesses and steer them away from disreputable ones. Through our website, consumers can get the same information on over 3 million companies nationwide.
The unreal world encompasses the consumer scams that victimized over 30 million Americans in the last year. We warn consumers about scams and frauds with the help of our media partners. Without the 129 BBBs across the US and Canada, more people would end up giving much of their hard earned money to shoddy businesses or scam artists. In 2008 BBB of the Mid-South has received over 500,000 consumer inquiries and assisted in resolving over 8000 complaints.
