About Us

Winner of the 2009 Governor’s Award for Volunteerism and Community Service
The Phoenix Project promotes sustainable solutions to social and economic problems by educating and empowering emerging social entrepreneurs and building community support for social innovation.
Our goals:
• To enlist public, private and nonprofit sector leaders in Virginia in a movement to identify and support successful tactics to solve social and economic problems.
• To educate, connect and engage Virginia’s top undergraduate and graduate students as the nation’s next generation of social entrepreneurs.
• To scale beyond Virginia successful programs and strategies to increase social innovation.
It's an exciting time to be working in these fields. Please join us.
-Team Phoenix
