The Spanish Fork/Salem Area Chamber of Commerce would like to invite all members to bring their families and employees to the 2010 Member Swim Party to be held August 25. There will Hot Dogs at the Water Park Pavilion from 5:30 to 6:30pm followed by swimming until 8pm. To help with the cost of the Water Park we are asking a donation of $5.00 per Chamber Member. There will be lots of fun and watermelon for all. Come and get to know other Chamber Members better as we say goodbye to summer! Top Economic Development Industry Publication Gives Utah High Rankings
PR or News Wire August 4, 2010 Utah has moved up in many key categories in one of the nation’s top economic development publications, ranking high in everything from quality of life to tax structure. The annual Rankings Report by Business Facilities magazine, released Monday, is yet another sign that Governor Herbert’s economic development plan is headed in the right direction. “Across all of our key rankings categories, Utah clearly exhibited the most dramatic improvement of any state in the nation,” said Jack Rogers, Business Facilities’ editor in chief. Utah ranked No. 1 in Quality of Life, and improved its ranking in several categories, including Best Education Climate, Best Business Climate and Best Transportation Infrastructure in this year’s rankings. read more...
