February 2011 Business of the Month
Bank of American Fork was established in 1013. The Spanish Fork Branch opened in 1997 on 8th North, the existing building was built in 1999. Bank of American Fork is proud of their service to our community for the past 14 years. One of the projects that the bank has done for the past 11 years is the Teddy Bear Program that collects and distributes new Teddy Bears to children in need. Teddy Bear donations have been made to various Utah Family support centers to be used as Christmas gifts as well as tools in play therapy and counseling. Spanish Fork High School is one of the largest sponsors of this program. Bank of American Fork helped sponsor the Vietnam Veterans Moving Memorial Wall in 2010 when it came to Spanish Fork. Bank of American Fork also has a float that appears in many local parades and in the Spanish Fork Salem Area Chamber of Commerce Winter Lights Parade. Bank of American Fork loves being a part of the community and enjoy being asked to participate in the many different activities in the community. They feel the Chamber keeps them well informed and tries to promote the businesses in town. They support shopping local. They currently have a program called MyRate Checking Interest on checking accounts. The Chamber of Commerce congratulates Bank of American Fork on the award and honored them with a plaque. Macey's donated a cake to the Bank for the celebration held Thursday, January 27th.
