Cary and his wife Judy own and operate Robarge Collision located in Spanish Fork. Cary has been a member of the Chamber and Board Member for several years. He is actively involved in Chamber, Civic, and Community events. He is the Chair person of the Spanish Fork Main Street Alliance for the restoration and improvements of our historical downtown area. Cary has many interests and loves being out doors. Thanks to everyone who attended the 2012 Chamber Board Installation and Awards Banquet held January 6 at the Chillon Reception Center. It was a gala event that was well attended by chamber, civic, and business leaders. Thanks to those who participated in the installation and awards, the Chillon for a great dinner and venue, Cole's House of Trophys for the awards, Big O Tires, South Valley Chiropractic, Dirty Jo Punsters, Walker Mortuary, and Cary's Designs Floral for door prizes, Spanish Fork Channel17 for taping and broadcasting of the event, and the Daily Herald for coverage of the banquet. Brent Wignall and Chris Hailstone of Spanish Fork opened Wiggy Wash in 2010 and it has been a sucess since day one. Wiggy Wash is actively involved in our community and our chamber. Miss Spanish Fork Whitney Talbert is hosting a Miss Teen Extraordinaire for local High School handicaped girls. This event was held last year and was a very moving and special night for these young ladies. Whitney is asking for our support of this event. Donations for tshirts, tiaras, sashes, food, and other expenses are needed to help Whitney with this event. The pageant will be held Monday, February 27 at 7pm at the Spanish Fork High School. Contact Cary or Jolyn at the Chamber office is you would like to participate and help Whitney Please give generously so that Whitney can give these young girls a special night and help them to increase their self esteem and self confidence. All the girls will be winners and receive a tiara, tshirt, sash, and other prizes. Food will be provided to the contestants during the practice and event. We are asking for donations of $50 from you our local business owners and Chamber Members. Chamber Newsletter Coming to your Home The Spanish Fork Salem Area Chamber of Commerce and the Daily Herald are producing a monthly newsletter that will be mailed to every home in Spanish Fork and Salem. It will also be added to the Sunday Daily Herald. This newsletter will feature local businesses and also include some community articles from local school, clubs, and other news.
