Rotary/Chamber Scholarship Fund Silent Auction
Cary Hanks The Rotary/Chamber Scholarship Silent Auction was held Thursday, February 18 at local area High Schools. These auctions are held each year to raise money for scholarships for our high school seniors. The Rotary and the Chamber in conjunction with the Nebo Foundation offer scholarships to students whom might not be able to qualify for other scholarship opportunities. Several criteria must be met and local high school counseling offices have the necessary information and forms for students to use to apply for these scholarships. These scholarships have been offered for the past 15 years and have helped hundreds of students go on the further their education in colleges around the country. The Rotary Club of Spanish Fork and the Spanish Fork/Salem Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to be able to offer these scholarships. read more... Easter Egg Hunt
It is almost time for the Annual Chamber Easter Egg Hunt. This year's hunt will be held on April 3rd at 9am. at the Spanish Fork Sports Complex on Volunteer Drive. The Spanish Fork Salem Area Chamber of Commerce is once again proud to be able to host this event with help from local area businesses who generously donate items, time and money to provide a fun event for our local young children. We appreciate these fine businesses and individuals who provide the egg stuffers, grab bags, toys, prizes, and bikes that we give away each year. We will have 10,000 eggs this year stuffed full of candy and coupons to local businesses.
The Chamber suggests that families limit children to four eggs each so that there are enough eggs for every child. Coupons to local area businesses are stuffed with the candy in the egg, so have your children open the eggs and redeem the coupons at the Park if necessary. We accept the opened eggs if you do not want them. If your child does not get eggs, please contact a representative of the Chamber to have them give your child eggs or grab bags. We want every child to have something from the event. read more... |
