| Rotary/Chamber Golf Pro/Am Tournament Date Changed
The Rotary Club of Spanish Fork and the Spanish Fork/Salem Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, MAY 6, 2010. The predictions for snow and rain has made this change necessary. Registration is at 9 a.m. at the Spanish Oaks Golf Course at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon. Local area businesses have donated items for prizes, raffles, and awards for the golfers and spectators. Come out and support our scholarship fundraiser playing your favorite sport of golf.

The Nebo Economic Summit is being held on May 11 in Payson. This summit is an annual event hosted by the Chambers of Commerce from Payson, Spanish Fork/Salem, and Santaquin. The Summit is a economic overview of South Utah County. Governor Gary Herbert will be attending breakfast before the Summit. Financier Spencer Eccles will be speaking at the Summit on Utah's economic development.

The 12th annual ranking of best places for business and careers named three Utah metro areas in the top 20 cities. The report considered factors such as cost of living, office rents, educational attainment and past and future job growth. Figures were obtained from government data and Moody's Economy.com.
