Our journey began in 1959 when we first opened our doors as Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. Since then, we have evolved and expanded our services to meet the growing needs of our community. What started as a small hospital offering emergency and inpatient care has transformed into a comprehensive healthcare organization offering a wide range of services including inpatient and outpatient care, home care, telehealth, and more.
Today, Lakes Regional Healthcare proudly employs over 300 dedicated individuals, including a diverse team of healthcare professionals and support staff. Our medical staff comprises over 250 practitioners, with over 200 physicians dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Additionally, our team is supported by approximately 50 volunteers who generously donate their time to enhance patient comfort and support fundraising efforts.
