Bio of Troy Fitzgerald

Troy Fitzgerald has worked for the City of Springville since 1998 as the City Attorney
and moved to the City Administrator position in 2006. As City Administrator, he has
worked to increase communication with the community and assist the Mayor and Council
in planning for the future of the City of Springville.

Troy was raised in Somers, New York, but discovered deep roots in Springville upon
moving here in 1993—he is a direct descendent of Springville pioneers. He has a
bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in Asian Studies from Brigham Young
University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham
Young University.

Troy worked briefly for Lederle Laboratories, Mrs. Fields Inc., and Consolidated Edison
of New York before working eight years with the local law firm of Young & Kester. At
Young & Kester, he worked on a variety of cases before focusing on corporations,
contracts and real estate.

Troy lives in town and is dedicated to the citizens of Springville. He and his wife,
Michelle, have five children.
