About Us
Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri (LFCS)
is a not-for-profit social services organization serving the State of Missouri.
Services in St. Charles County include: a nationally-accredited child care center (Elm Point Early Childhood Center), counseling and mental health services for children and adults, pregnancy counseling, emergency or respite foster care for families of young children in crisis, and adoption services.
LFCS is a member of the United Way of Greater St. Louis and the Better Business Bureau. Services are open to everyone regardless of race, faith, national origin, gender or age. Our services are child & family-centered and quality-focused. Our direct-service staff are highly-trained professionals, most hold graduate-level degrees and professional licenses.
Fees are traditionally less than current market price. Some fees (children's counseling, respite care and pregnancy counseling) are free of charge or at a subsidized rate based on household income.
