About Us

The Millstone Company is a St. Louis based real estate and private equity investment company. The company was founded in 2001 with the acquisition of Fountain Lakes Commerce Center. Fountain Lakes is located at the interchange of Highway 370 & Elm Street/New Town Boulevard in the City of St. Charles, Missouri. Due to the high quality of life, affordability and excellent job growth, St. Charles County is in the top two percent of growth in the United States. Nearly all of the existing growth along the 370 corridor is accessed through the Elm Street/New Town Blvd. interchange.

The Millstone Company has integrated a wide range of businesses in Fountain Lakes and has begun to attract supporting services as well. The public parks that were built as part of the original development plan, nearby amenities, affordable housing and a well planned business park create a setting that enhances the investment of existing area businesses and organizations.

The Millstone Company is dedicated to responsible stewardship of our community and supports a diverse range of organizations. Among those organizations are the Regional Business Council, University of Missouri-St. Louis, Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Washington University in St. Louis and Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation.

Since its inception, while making other real estate & private equity investments, The Millstone Company has focused on the development of its award winning Fountain Lakes Commerce Center (recognized for planning excellence by the City of St. Charles and the Missouri Chapter of the American Planning Association). Today, Fountain Lakes Commerce Center stands strong in St. Charles County at the center of the Highway 370 corridor and its growth. Fountain Lakes contains approximately 2.5 million square feet of commercial, industrial, and retail space with another 1.5 million square feet remaining to be developed.

Beyond the success of Fountain Lakes Commerce Center, The Millstone Company invests in a variety of other projects and businesses. Our goal is to provide investors, businesses and communities with superior financial returns through a commitment to quality and detailed planning.
