Sams Carpet Cleaning & Repairs has been in the carpet cleaning and repair business since 1985, celebrating 25 Years of Service this year 2010. The headquarters of the company has always been in St. Charles. This was very important to Jeff Sams, President, to stay and re-invest in the St. Charles area with continued support from the community and the city.

There has been an increase demand for special care and attention to oriental rug cleaning. The company has already been cleaning all types of machine and hand-made oriental rugs for years, but with this demand, Jeff decided it was time to invest in equipment and educate more employees to form a new division FrenchTown Rug Cleaning Co. to concentrate on them exclusively. The company also invested in becoming one of the only few Missouri companies certified as Master Rug Cleaners that are skilled at recognizing the unique fibers and construction of any type of rug and cleaning them that will be save for the environment. Our Master Rug Cleaners adhere to the highest ethical business standards and have access to the collective expertise of an international network of specialist.

The company has participated in many local and national charities from local youth programs, golf tournaments, sponsorships, auctions, etc. We have taken pride in volunteering and providing charity donations to assist in bettering our community and a healthy environment. Helping youth and families to achieve their maximum potential and build positive future is the greatest reward. Just to name a few organizations we contributed to but not limited to; Emmaus Homes, Ronald McDonald House, V.F.W. Post 2866, Kids for Cancer, Parent Project MD, St. Cletus Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Peters Catholic Church, Duchesne High School, Wright City School District, St. Peters Chamber of Commerce, The Cogo Family Trivia to help with medical bills, etc.

The past three years, Sams has co-sponsored a team for the Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure ®. The team was put together to support the fight for breast cancer and to support Tammy Ostmann, of St. Charles, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2007. The local community, friends, family, and co-workers came together and we have registered every year around 80-120 walkers/runners and raising $3,500 to $4,000.
