100 Years Ago - December 3, 1920
"Colonel Dan Morgan Smith, leader of the "Battalion of Death", 1st Battalion, 358 Infantry, 90 Division A.E.F., during the late world war will speak at the Methodist Church, Sunday, December 5th, at 3 p.m. He will tell of his experiences in the war. While in service over seas Colonel Smith took part in the St. Mihiel drive at Faye-en-Haye and his battalion was part of the American forces which advanced on Hill No. 350-4, Lea Quatre Chemins, where the battalion surrounded by three German Regiments, fought its way through and was given the name of the "Battalion of Death." The speaking tour of Colonel Smith is under the exclusive supervision of the Anti-Saloon League of America."

12-Days of Christmas Gift Card Giveaway
The Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce will be taking our own spin on the traditional 12-days of Christmas in an effort to support our Shop Local Campaign. We will be giving away gift certificates to shop with our chamber members. In order to be entered into our giveaway, you must present a receipt dated 11/23/2020 to 12/17/2020 and the purchase must have been a minimum of $25 with one of our chamber members.
We are asking that our members display the attached flyers, as well as let their customers know about the giveaway. Help us "Share the gift of Christmas" with our chamber members this Christmas Season!
