Ken Yavitz has always had an eye for the big picture. Following in his family’s legacy of managing the business and personal interests of insurance clients, he is widely recognized for evaluating and protecting all aspects of his clients’ livelihoods. He credits asking the right questions for solving challenges that clients may not anticipate or even know to exist. This anticipatory, proactive approach to ensuring the best interests of every Yavitz client is what helps to set Ken and his agency apart. 
This talent for navigating obstacles was born of a family tradition of excellence, beginning with his grandfather, Al Yavitz, a tough but fair World War I veteran who founded the Yavitz Agency in 1921. Al successfully guided his clients and the agency through the perils of the Great Depression before eventually handing over ownership of the firm to Ken’s father, Jordan, and uncle, Marvyn. Ken signed on with Yavitz Insurance in 1977.
