About Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity
Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity
Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity, based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, has been dedicated to serving the communities of Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN since 1989. With a vision that everyone deserves a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 as a grassroots effort and has since grown into a leading global nonprofit organization operating in over 70 countries.
Locally, Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity has constructed more than 30 homes over the past 35 years for low-income families in the Red River Valley region. Residents of Polk or Grand Forks counties who need assistance have the opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity through programs such as Habitat Helpers Repair or Homeownership Programs to build or improve their own homes.
The organization believes that through financial support, volunteering, or advocating for affordable housing, everyone can play a role in helping families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to create better lives for themselves. By providing shelter, Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity empowers individuals and families to take control of their living situations and work towards a brighter future.
Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity's mission is not only about building homes but also about building hope and creating opportunities for those in need. The organization is committed to making a lasting impact on the community by addressing housing challenges and promoting sustainable solutions.
Through its dedication to serving others and its belief in the power of community support, Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity continues to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout the region.
