Experience the Arts in Downtown Grand Forks! The Empire Arts Center promotes culture and lifelong learning by producing its artistic programming while providing a distinctive, welcoming venue for the arts, businesses, and community of the upper Red River Valley.
The Empire Arts Center is a non-profit multi-purpose facility located in downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota. Renovated in 1998, the Empire is a circa 1919 movie house renovated into a multi-use theater and gallery facility. The Empire Arts Center hosts a variety of theater productions, performing arts events, films, concerts, speakers, community events, and meetings throughout the year.
