About St. Joseph's Social Care and Thrift Store
St. Joseph's Social Care and Thrift Store
St. Joseph's Social Care and Thrift Store, located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, was established in response to the increased need for food pantry, emergency assistance, and thrift store services following the devastating flood of 1997. What began as a response to a community crisis has since evolved into an organization dedicated to promoting dignity and self-worth while inspiring hope and empowerment.
Our mission at St. Joseph's Social Care is to assist individuals and families in need without regard to race, religion, or national origin. We believe that by meeting basic needs, we can inspire hope and empower people to reach their fullest potential. Our team of dedicated volunteers works alongside our small staff to provide essential human needs such as food, housing, transportation, clothing, and emergency assistance including utility bill payments.
As a Catholic charity, we are committed to advocating for those in need and promoting their dignity and self-worth. We strive to walk with them, learn from them, and recognize the presence of God within each individual we serve.
At St. Joseph's Social Care and Thrift Store, we understand the importance of community support in fulfilling our mission. Through partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and generous donors, we can extend our reach and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing adversity.
We are proud to be a beacon of hope for the disadvantaged in our community and remain steadfast in our commitment to providing compassionate care with respect and empathy.
Join us in our mission as we continue to serve those in need with compassion and dedication. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of others and build a stronger community for all.
