About Us
“An Organization for Business Owners, Non-Profit Organizations, and Individuals"
MISSION STATEMENT. Quitman-Brooks County Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of Quitman and Brooks County so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper.
OBJECTIVES. Empahsis is given to the economic, commercial, agricultural, industrial, civic, cultural, and educational interests of the county.
ACTIVITIES. The Chamber hosts events at least quarterly, such as Business After Hours, where you can network, exchange business cards, and distribute promotonal information. The Chamber hosts an annual awards banquet where businesses and individuals are recognized for their achievement. The Chamber also hosts an annual Working Women's Luncheon each year to bring together working women from all areas of business and industry. The major fundraiser for the Chamber, "Hot August Night", is held each August to raise money for the operations of the Chamber.
