About UsThe Georgia TeenWork Internship Program (GTIP) is a resource to youth throughout the state of Georgia endorsed by our Governor Nathan Deal. Youth will have hands on experience with companies to develop the skills needed for today's workplace. Youth are trained and matched to assigned employers based on the needs of the employer and future career interest of the participating youth. The employers are recruited and matched with youth in their community. GTIP arranges interviews between the youth and the employers to determine if the worksite is a suitable match for both parties.
To ensure job sites are safe working environments, the companies will complete both a thorough back ground check (the state will incur all cost) and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). All organizations governed by the rules and regulations of the Georgia Secretary of State must be in compliance with the aforementioned guidelines.
All participating youth will complete a career assessment along with the employment skills training session(s) conducted by their Youth Career Coach for spring, summer, or winter breaks.
We look forward to partnering with you. You may contact me, Katrina Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org or (404) 989-8629.
