Reading

Since the library doors are closed, we have the option for children to complete the program online this summer and limit the number of trips to the library.  Curbside pickup is available for books requested by phone or the pines system website. The library also provides e-books and audiobooks through RB Digital.  The child may also read books from home.

To receive a prize bag, each child must:

Read any 5 books (fiction, non-fiction, or chapter).  Books must be logged and the list submitted by July 13 to receive a prize bag.  There will not be any top reader prizes this year.  There is no prize benefit to reading more than 5 books.

Online Registration

Visit our website http://www.ocrl.org/wc-kids for the link to register your child and the link to submit the book log.

Traditional Registration and Book Logs

If you do not have online access, the traditional registration and book logs are available for curbside pickup.  Call us when you are in the parking lot, and we will bring registration forms to your car.  Please stay in the car.

Door Prizes

Drawings will be held at the end of the summer for all who return book logs (with legible and working phone number).  Winners will be contacted after July 13.

Performers/Programs

There will be no in person performers or programs at the library this summer.

Three performers are providing us with a video to enjoy this summer:

June 10-July 13        Jeffery Knight

June 22-June 28      Todd Key

These videos will be accessed from our kids summer reading web page http://www.ocrl.org/wc-kids.

 Crafts

A limited number of craft kits will be available to take home, first come first serve.
