Brentwood News

Brentwood School  is extremely busy during the months of August and September. Not only are our fall sports in full motion, but our academics are as well!  Brentwood's robust curriculum prepares students for their next steps from the very first day. (Varsity Football Photo credits go to Mark Williams)

Brentwood School Summer Reading Projects

Dr. Jerry Snider, Upper School Language Arts teacher at Brentwood School, was thrilled to share a few of his Summer Reading projects from his 7th grade students.  Students were assigned a "Book Report on a Poster" project that they were to complete over the summer months.  They selected a book out of several choices and followed Dr. Snider's booklet directions where they had to answer questions, draw pictures, research vocabulary words, and make models to represent objects in the story, then add to a poster board. The material all showed how well they understood literary terms learned in Dr. Snider's class.  What a fun way to show what they learned!
