Relay for Life Washington County - There's No Place Like Hope

I am excited to be the Event Lead for Relay for Life here in Washington County. I hope this year I have the opportunity to help this community reach our fundraising goal and maybe even surpass it! But I can only do that with all of your help!

I look forward to meeting all of you and hearing your stories but first, I'll tell you a little about mine. I have lived in Sandersville for the last four years with my husband, Blake Dominy. He is one of the biggest reasons why I am involved in Relay for Life. Blake was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia in 2012. He is now healthy and cancer free! Because of cancer research his oncologist told us that he could be CURED not just treated. I know that not every cancer patient hears those words but the hope that one day all cancer patients could hear that is why I RELAY!

Brentwood News

Brentwood had a great visit from GCSU and their Chemistry Department. Professors and students in the department shared their love of science and some fantastic chemistry experiments for our students!

We congratulate our Lady Varsity XC runners as they took 1st place for the 3rd year in a row at State in Augusta! Our own Michael Ann Hood came in 1st place overall for our Girls!  Our Varsity Boys came in 8th place and all ran very strong times! Super job!
