MALPASS BROTHERS IN CONCERT

The Washington County Concert Association is proud to present one of the hottest traditional country / bluegrass bands in the South – The Malpass Brothers of North Carolina.  They will be in concert with their traveling band on Thursday evening, March 21st, in the Oconee Fall Line Technical College Auditorium at 7:30 PM.

The Malpass Brothers are selling out venues on their current tour because word is spreading that they are THE authentic traditional country band.  We have literally gotten calls and emails from all over the state for people who are driving to Sandersville next Thursday to see the Malpass Brothers again (we have sold over 40 advance tickets to out of towners).

Come see why the Raleigh News & Observer says “Retrobilly duo The Malpass Brothers are the closest thing to Nashville’s Golden Age since the passing of Merle Haggard in 2016.  In fact, Haggard took a liking to the Goldsboro siblings and invited them to record at his California ranch.  With their carefully textured coifs and colorful suits, the Malpass boys look like the music they sing, from honky-tonk classics to old-time gospel.”  SteelGuitarForum.com says “May be just the kind of effort that saves country music from complete pop oblivion.”  Roothog Radio notes “These guys don’t just sound retro.  They are retro.”

Come see what the fuss is all about.  Members of the Washington County Concert Association are of course admitted with their memberships.  If you are not a member, you can buy a one-time ticket at the door for $25.  Children and students are admitted free.

THANKS TO OUR MAJOR SPONSOR FOR THIS CONCERT – REAL COUNTRY WACO 100 FM!

Dear Business Stakeholder:

Our Special Education Department is seeking to allow our students to participate in extracurricular activities.  Our students enjoy being out in the community and the social interactions that occur with these trips are irreplaceable.   As you well know, there are always costs involved for our students.  In order to prevent asking parents for money, we are reaching out to our business stakeholders.

Your donation will help defray the costs of items for our special education students such as:

Special Olympics uniforms
Special Olympics lunches and snacks
Transportation to and from Special Olympics events
Classroom field trips
Classroom incentives

If you are able, we’d love it if you could make a donation to help our students.  Thank you in advance for your contribution.   Please make checks payable to Washington County Board of Education Special Programs Department

Sincerely,
