Chamber Events Cayce-West Columbia Holiday Parade of Lights Sponsored by: CresCom Bank 12/08/2018 05:30 PM - 07:30 PM Annual Holiday Parade of Lights right here in Cayce - West Columbia! Come see bands, floats, trucks, go-carts, mascots all decorated with THOUSANDS of lights! *PARADE PLANS IF WEATHER IS AN ISSUE.* The event is not rain or shine. if the roads are wet, they create a safety hazard with trucks and trailers trying to stop. The rain would create less crowd but higher risk and liability. Due to the amount of law enforcement shifts involved, we need to make a decision as soon as possible for scheduling purposes. We plan to make the initial call by close of business on Thursday. If we make the call to have the parade, there will still be a chance we have to cancel the day of the event if the weather worsens. Hopefully, we can minimize the chance of a day of cancellation with our decision on Thursday. If we do not have the event this Saturday 12/8, the makeup day would be Saturday 12/15.
