SBA 504 Refinancing Program
The standalone SBA 504 Refinancing Program is a temporary program that allows the SBA 504 Loan to be used for refinancing conventional loans, so long as a series of specific criteria is met. The program is authorized through September 27, 2012.
SBA has announced the guidelines for the new standalone SBA 504 Refinancing Program, which was originally approved as a part of the Small Business Jobs Act this past fall. This is a temporary program that allows the SBA 504 Loan to be used for refinancing conventional loans, so long as a series of specific criteria is met. SBA will begin accepting applications on February 28, 2011, and the program is authorized through September 27, 2012.
