Good afternoon members,

The link between workforce development and education standards is a significant issue facing White Bear Area Chamber members. Our current, hyper-competitive business environment demands a highly trained workforce.

At our August Government & Public Affairs committee we will discuss what needs to be done in Minnesota to enact legislation designed to improve education standards.

More information can be found here.

Golf & Network

"Third Thursday Tee-Time™"
Chamber Summer Golf & Network

Oneka Ridge Golf Course
3rd Thursday of each month
(This Thursday! August 21st is the next golf date.)
Tee times starting at 3:12 pm

Jon Hatcher, Manager at Oneka Ridge, is generously supporting us by giving discounted rates for any member of this group: $15/Walk or $22 to ride for 9 holes. If you wish to take on 18 holes he is also discounting those rates for $20/walk or $30 to ride!

The goal is that every month, you are teeing up with different business chamber members. In past years we have included a “topic of discussion” each week. Looking for input if we want to incorporate it this year again.

RSVP: Please call or email either Carrie at carrieh@apsofmn.com or Kyle at kyle.sommer@tbs.toshiba.com to sign up and we will adjust tees accordingly. We need to give Oneka a heads up if there are more than three tees so please RSVP by the Monday of the week we are golfing.
