There is no charge to attend for chamber members, and a continental breakfast will be served. Candidates running for house districts 38B, 42B and 43A have been invited.

Those districts are currently held by Representatives Peter Fischer, Matt Dean and Jason Isaacson. We will ask the candidates their positions on important business issues such as the minimum wage, business regulations and taxes.
 
Again, there is no charge to attend this event for chamber members, but registration is required. Non-members pay $10.

Re: Board Vacancies For 2015
 
The White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce hereby has given notice of four (4) vacancies on the Board of Directors for the 2015—2018 term.
 
The White Bear Area Chamber Nominations Committee is recommending the following nominees to fill the 2015-2018 Board of Directors positions. All nominees have expressed their willingness to serve, have read the formal job description and completed a Board application. Nominations are as follows:

Ron Anderson – Century College – Three Year Term
Colette Jurek – Xcel Energy - Three Year Term
Sheila Kelly – Sheila Kelly Law Firm LLC - Three Year Term
Eric Rickman – Saputo Dairy Foods USA – Three Year Term

Additional names of candidates for Directors can be nominated by petition bearing the genuine signatures of at least twelve (12) qualified members of the Chamber. Such petition shall be filed with the Nomination Committee at the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce office, 4751 Highway 61, White Bear Lake, no later than 4:30 p.m. on October 17th, 2014.  The determination of the Nomination Committee as to the legality of the petition(s) shall be final.
