White Bear Area Inaugural / Annual Meeting

White Bear Area Inaugural – A tale of perseverance and overcoming obstacles: “Escape From Camp 14”

Blaine Harden, an American author and journalist, will address the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Inaugural.

His 2012 book, Escape From Camp 14, is an international bestseller translated into 27 languages. It is the story of Shin Dong-hyuk, the only person born in a North Korean prison camp to escape to the West.

But wait, there's more!

Rush Line Open House

Tomorrow night is an open house for the proposed Rush Line Cooridor. This could potentially be the biggest train-related happenings since, like, 1966. Over a half-century later -- they could be returning. Exciting!

Under the Community Calendar you'll find the event with more info as well as their flyer. Check it out for more information.

Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children

We have a very nice opportunity to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids on Friday, February 20.

We have three shifts, each of which can have 30 people helping out together. This would be a great start to your weekend and provide a nice boost to your overall karma.

Further details and registration here.

Member-to-Member Discounts

We are now boasting ELEVEN (11) Member-to-Member Discounts. We've been averaging about 0.8 new discounts a week, so be sure to check back at least every other week for what will mathematically be 1.6 new discounts!

Email Mike if you would like to offer a discount to fellow Chamber Members.
