Manitou Days Parade

We are looking for Manitou Days Parade volunteers on Friday, June 19. We've had a good response so far, but there are still positions available.

We have several different opportunities, at least one of which you will find is both exciting and fits in your wheelhouse of volunteering skills.
  1. Signage Assembly
    • 11 - Noon
    • Staple line-up signage to wooden stakes; organize for distribution
  2. Parade Staging
    • Noon - 2:00pm
    • Set-up lineup signage
  3. Line-Up Hosts
    • 3:30 - 6:30pm
    • Provide support to parade participants
  4. Parade Marshals Walker/Rider
    • 5:30 - 8:30pm
    • Monitor the flow of parade for gaps - keeps spectators at a safe distance. Walk/Ride parade at specified section.

Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health Seeks Volunteers for Emergency Preparedness Simulation

You can help our community prepare for an emergency by volunteering at an emergency preparedness simulation to be held in June.

Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health and Ramsey County Emergency Management, in cooperation with White Bear Lake Public Safety, are seeking volunteers to participate in an emergency preparedness simulation on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at White Bear Lake Area High School – South Campus.

The simulation is being conducted to test and improve the community’s overall preparedness for a public health emergency. A light breakfast and box lunch will be provided to all volunteers.
