Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team are excited to return to Minnesota! They plan to film episodes of the hit series AMERICAN PICKERS throughout the region in October 2017!

BACK-TO-BASICS BUSINESS RECYCLING
 

Here at BizRecycling, we think about recycling a lot. Because this is what we do, we’re always discussing the more esoteric points of recyclables, and wondering if we can recycle things like broken rubber bands. But for most businesses, recycling comes down to the basics. Although about 90% of businesses in the East Metro are recycling, chances are they could be recycling more, and not weird stuff like rubber bands.

Paper Recycling - Paper tends to be a huge portion of a lot of businesses’ waste stream. Making sure that last years’ annual report and all of the other outdated paper gets recycled can generate huge cost savings. Why? Because paper is heavy, and garbage is taxed… but recycling is not. Adding paper recycling to your business waste management plan is an easy place to start.

Making sure that there are recycling bins, and only recycling bins, near the printers and copiers will make sure that those “oops” prints get recycled. Remind staff that the wrappers from the paper reams can also be recycled. Click HERE for more ideas!
