Legalization of Recreational Marijuana and the Impact on Business Operations

Legalization of Recreational Marijuana and the Impact on Business Operations
February 28, 2020 | 11:30am - 1:00pm
Tria Restaurant
5959 Centerville Road | North Oaks

Guest Speaker: Minnesota House Majority Leader, Ryan Winkler, (46A)
With the mid-western states of Illinois and Michigan passing legislation to legalize recreational cannabis, the possibility of Minnesota joining their ranks becomes more likely. The chief author of the Minnesota House bill to legalize recreational cannabis, House Majority Leader, Ryan Winkler, will participate in a question and answer session with members of the White Bear Area Chamber, the MetroNorth Chamber and the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce.

If and when Minnesota legalizes recreational marijuana, it is important that certain business issues are taken into account. Topics for consideration by the business community include the possible concerns regarding drug testing policies, worker productivity, workers compensation rates and other enforcement issues.

This will be the first event on this issue that Representative Winkler has participated in that will be entirely devoted to the interests of the business community.
Cost to attend is $35 and registration is required.
