The White Bear Area Chamber and the Northeast Metro Perkins Consortium are once again partnering to offer a Teacher Externship program to area businesses. We have a group of eligible educators that will be placed in a member business with the focus on building a bridge between skills-based and knowledge-based education. In honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day this April, the Century College Alumni Association invites our college and local communities to the Climate Change Awareness & Action Fair. Hear from featured speaker Will Steger, founder of Climate Generation; updates from the City of White Bear Lake’s Climate Smart Municipalities initiative; and discover resources, products and services to help you live more sustainably at the Greener Living Resource Fair.

Electronics recycling provided by Tech Dump, plastic bag recycling provided by Century College Facilities (in collaboration with Merrick, Inc.), and sampling of local, organic, sustainably-grown treats from area restaurants.
