Dear Chamber Members,
At the Chamber we are committed to supporting the White Bear Area business community through this uncertain time, providing resources and information based in fact and encouraging our residents to continue to invest locally. Below, we have provided links to important resources and encourage you to stay up-to-date with recommendations from the local, state and federal health department agencies. We are closely monitoring recommendations from the state and local municipal and county officials as well as the School Districts.
As business leaders, we all play a vital role in not only preventing the spread of COVID-19, but also enacting everyday safety and wellness precautions to keep our workforce healthy. The goal for our community is to continue to support local businesses in ways that are safe and appropriate for them. Encouraging businesses to have a large on-line presence, delivery of products, on-line shopping and take-out from local restaurants rather than dine-in.
While the Chamber office will remain open, due to the growing concerns surrounding the virus, the Chamber has decided to postpone all of our Ribbon Cuttings and canceled Women in Business in March and April and Morning Networking on April 7th. We will change all Board and Committee meetings into electronic conferences when possible.
The underlying goal is to ensure the safety of Chamber staff and our members, seek to continuity of Chamber programs and services and provide operational success of the Chamber. We will continue to monitor the situation and take additional action when necessary. We put the health and safety of our members first. We thank you for your understanding and support.
