White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce Joins Minnesota Ready Coalition
White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce Joins Minnesota Ready
Businesses throughout Minnesota – especially small businesses – are eagerly awaiting their turn to fully open. They have taken the necessary safety precautions, with detailed, effective preparedness plans in place. Knowing that they could reopen or increase customer capacity on a certain date would help small businesses start to refuel our economy, and safely welcome back their employees and customers.
Small businesses are the economic engine of our state’s future. Without decisive action, many will be lost. This is not simply a personal loss for business owners. This is a loss to the employees, their communities, the local governments and the state in terms of commercial and economic activity.
As your business advocacy group, we're partnering with 60 local chambers of commerce and trade organizations to form the Minnesota Ready coalition in an effort to quickly and safely reopen Minnesota's economy by June 19th.
What else can you do to help?
White Bear Area Chamber Joins Business4Business MSP Regional Coalition
A broad alliance of Twin Cities counties, chambers of commerce, community development agencies and other partners are building a local support network to help small businesses survive and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Business4Business Partnership (B4B MSP) is a regional coalition aiming to build a local support network to help small businesses survive and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges facing our small business community.
The B4B MSP coalition will connect small businesses harmed by COVID-19 with local resources from public agencies and private sector partners, including technical and financial assistance to provide immediate relief and boost long-term recovery efforts. Priority outreach will be conducted in partnership with community-based organizations working in low-wealth communities, communities of color, and areas with barriers to access other small business resources.
There are opportunities to donate time, money, and other resources to support businesses right here in Ramsey and Washington Counties.

Keeping them engaged and able to continue to grow their business. The pandemic has threatened so many of our small businesses and all the hard work their owners have put into them.
As a Chamber Booster, your donation will go towards dues for some of our hardest hit members. These are current members, who have been active and generous, yet are struggling to renew at this time due to the shut-down of their businesses. If you are able, please consider donating. All proceeds will be used to support your fellow business owners. And if you are struggling, please let us know. We are stronger together and our comeback story is going to be amazing!
