Bear Water Run

Attention Chamber Members:

 

Have you ever wanted to meet with specific Chamber members but the opportunities haven’t been available?  Here is your chance to find that specific Chamber member you would like to meet by simply delivering a White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce Directory.  This is non-pressure opportunity to establish business relationships with other Chamber members.

 

On Wednesday, August 15th at our temporary home at  4738 Bald Eagle Ave. (home of Mueller Memorial),  you can drop by between 8:00-9:30am, have some coffee & pastries and pick up some directories to deliver.  Take 2 or 10, it's up to you the number of members to connect with.

 

Please RSVP to maureen@whitebearchamber.com if you would like to deliver Chamber Directories to potential business contacts.

 

Next week on August 21st the Government Affairs Committee will discuss White Bear Lake level issues and possible state legislation to curtail increases in small business and individual health insurance costs.  The Government Affairs Committee meets on Tuesday, August 21st from 8:00 – 9:00am at Washington Square Bar and Grill.

On September 18th we will recognize a local Twin Cities Company that built most of the gear work for the Curiosity Mars Rover. This program will showcase how a medium size Minnesota Manufacturing Company can be a global leader in technological  innovation.  There will be more on this event as it gets closer. 

Next month we return to our full schedule with an exciting venue of cutting edge programming and new networking opportunities.

The Women in Business Networking Group is collecting SCHOOL SUPPLIES to donate to local kids in need.  Please help us in making the new school year a little easier for our kids.   Backpacks, pencils, pens, folders, scissors, crayons, notebooks, markers, erasers, and glue sticks are just some of the items on the back to school lists.  You can't go wrong with anything you decide to donate!  Please bring supplies to any Chamber networking event /meeting or call the Chamber office at 651.429.8593 to arrange drop off or pick up.
