I strongly encourage you to attend the following two upcoming events. The first is our Government & Public Affairs Committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday November 20th. We will discuss what the White Bear area business community needs to do to face the new legislative realities in Minnesota. With the turnover in the House and Senate leadership our discussion will help set the White Bear Area Chamber’s legislative priorities. Our guest will be Maureen Shaver, she was a senior advisor to Governor Tim Pawlenty and Governor Arnie Carlson. Shaver is also a political commentator on WCCO and a frequent guest on Almanac. The Annual Legislative Reception is scheduled for Thursday evening November 29th from 5 -7pm at the White Bear Country Inn. We have invited the entire White Bear Area Legislative delegation to attend as well as Governor Dayton and the new legislative leadership.
