He had the first confirmed dogsled journey to the North Pole (without re-supply) and the longest unsupported dogsled expedition in history during an historic 3,471-mile International Trans-Antarctic Expedition – the first and only traverse of Antarctica. Steger co-founded the Center for Global Environmental Education (CGEE) and established the Will Steger Foundation. He joins Amelia Earhart, Robert Peary, Roald Amundsen and Jacques-Yves Cousteau in receiving the National Geographic Society's John Oliver La Gorce Medal for accomplishments in geographic exploration. Successful goal setting is a key component to structuring a successful business. There is much to learn from Will Steger when it comes to goal setting. Imagine the complexity, planning and goal setting that went into Steger’s trek across the Antarctica. Registration begins at 11:30am. followed by lunch and program from 12:00-1:30pm.
