FINANCE COMMITTEE Click here | Dear Chamber Members...
I sincerely hope you have been contacting our legislators on the issues that impact your business. We have trying to keep you informed about the developments at the State Capital.
It’s within our power to create a pro-growth business environment that empowers business expansion and job creation. However, it’s important to make those phone calls to our elected representatives when your Chamber sends out legislative alerts. In other news, we have several outstanding opportunities coming within the next six weeks. This Thursday, we have an incredible event scheduled for Professional Development called Sage Presence which is an interactive audience driven program designed to sharpen your networking and sales skills. Normally, Sage Presence charges several hundred dollars for their sales training, however, White Bear Area Chamber members can attend this program for free!!! Don’t think just because this event is free it doesn’t have value. The Chamber members who schedule these programs work tirelessly to provide high quality programs. Later on Thursday evening, the White Bear Area Chamber is a co-sponsor for an event at Century College titled “Where our Water Comes From.” It’s scheduled from 6:30-8:30pm and is free. With our depleting aquifer and its relationship to the White Bear Lake water level this educational program is of great value. On April 17th the Chamber has scheduled a Bowl-a-Rama at White Bear Bowl. This is a great networking opportunity and will run from 5:00-7:00pm. Then on April 24th the Chamber monthly meeting will feature David Stockman; Ronald Reagan’s Director of the Office of Management & Budget. More details on this event to follow. Finally, we have passed the half way attendance mark for the golf outing. Get your reservations in now! Tom Snell, Executive Director White Bear Area Chamber 651.429.8593 Bowl-A-Rama
