Dear Chamber Members...

Workforce development continuously comes up as a major issue for our business community.  With most skilled jobs requiring more than a high school diploma, workforce issues become a primary focus.

We have invited the MnSCU Chancellor Steven Rosenstone to discuss in an open ended format, what you expect from Minnesota’s institutions of higher education when it comes to workforce related issues.  Chancellor Rosenstone is in charge of the Technical & Community Colleges along with the State Colleges and Universities in Minnesota. The Chancellor is specifically interested in hearing your concerns on workforce training and how post secondary education can respond to your needs.

This event is an absolute must for any business owner or individual in charge of hiring that is concerned about critical workforce training needs.
Join us for discussion and lunch
Tuesday, July 30th

Host Families Needed

Twin City Steel Hockey Team Looking for Host Families

Twin City Steel Billet (host) Families play a vital role in our organization’s success both on and off the ice.  These special people open their homes and hearts to our players, ages 16-20, providing them a place to live and an environment they can thrive in, while they pursue their dream of reaching a higher level of hockey.  Host families are expected to treat players as one of their own while providing them with a bedroom and meals.
