Dear Chamber Members

We have an excellent program scheduled for the 2014 White Bear Area Chamber Inaugural/Annual Meeting. Our guest speaker is  Mark Crea, Executive Director/CEO, Feed My Starving Children.

This event will focus on the dynamics of effective leadership and strategies to grow your business. We will use lessons learned from the incredible journey undertaken by CEO Mark Crea to build Feed My Starving Children into an innovative powerhouse operation.

When Mark was hired in 2004 Feed My Starving Children distributed 3 million meals.  In 2013 that number increased to a phenomenal 190 million meals. Their budget grew from $670,000 in 2004 to $ 48 million today. Feed My Starving Children’s three year strategic plan calls for doubling in size their distribution.

While it is interesting & inspirational to learn about the wonderful things Feed My Starving Children has done to combat hunger, the real aspect of this event is to learn important business skills based on the incredible performance of Feed My Starving Children.

Join us at the 2014 Inaugural on Wednesday, February 12th at Dellwood Country Club.  Registration begins at 11:30am followed by the lunch and program from 12:00-1:30pm
Cost to attend is  $25.00.  Please register online here, email maureen@whitebearchamber.com or 651.429.8593.

Topic: " Kickstart Your Successful Business Year: 2014"!

Presenter:  Ann Boland, Boland Training & Development

Have you decided on your business goals, business themes and business resolutions for 2014?  It’s not too late.
STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN!  Stop letting last year’s issues define this year’s future business decisions.  Look at what’s currently working and improve on it.  Listen to your “inner resources” and take action from that place.
Some of the benefits of this class are:
  • Clarity around what’s currently working for your business and its employees. Clarity around how to create themes, action plans and goals.
  • Confidence in building new relationships.
  • Relief in knowing that past business decisions don’t have to define your future…unless you want them to.
This seminar will help you set some tangible goals this year (you know, the kind that are "doable" and not frustrating), and create wildly passionate themes for you and your business.  You will be invited into some experiences to get your juices flowing and get your heart racing so that you can create a powerful year.
