Manitou Days Parade


The 2014 Manitou Days Parade is just around the corner on Friday, June 20th.   We're looking for volunteers to lend a hand for a couple of hours prior to the parade.  If you're interested in helping out, there are plenty of opportunities:  Signage Assembly, Parade Staging, Line up hosts, Brochure/Candy Bag Distribution, Parade Marshalls and much more.

Our monthly membership meeting will feature Laura Kalambokidis the Minnesota State Economist. Join us on Thursday, June 19th at the White Bear Country Inn from 11:30 - 1:00 for lunch and program. With state revenue falling short of projections, her comments will be both insightful and relevant. Business people who need to plan based on current and future economic trends should attend this program.

The members of the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce have been invited to a Special Breakfast event at the Maplewood Old Country Buffet.  The event will kick off at 8 am and will include a meet & greet with CEO Anthony Wedo. He will speak on the Leadership Principles he has developed and how businesses may incorporate them into their own practices.
 

Anthony Wedo is a highly successful proven leader and executive in the restaurant industry.  With more than 25 years of restaurant industry experience, he possesses a unique background in that he has demonstrated success as a Fortune 50 senior executive, a high growth entrepreneur, and a turnaround CEO.
