Erie Shores Council, Boy Scouts of America, located in Toledo, Ohio, is a prominent youth development organization with a strong commitment to instilling ethical values and character-building. Our rich history and dedicated mission make us a leading force in preparing young individuals to make responsible choices guided by the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Our two exceptional camps, Camp Frontier and Camp Miakonda, spanning nearly 1,500 acres, provide the perfect backdrop for a wide range of outdoor adventures, from weekend camporees to summer camps, offering valuable opportunities for growth and learning.
With a devoted team of two full-time rangers, we ensure that our camps operate smoothly and safely, providing our Scouts with unforgettable experiences. Through comprehensive training and program materials, both our youth and adult leaders are equipped to guide and mentor our Scouts effectively. Emphasizing camaraderie and community, our dedicated volunteer district committee members and adult Scouters play a pivotal role in supporting the Scouting movement and program, fostering an environment of growth and impact.
