A Message From White Pines Golf Course

Ad sponsorship scam NOT AUTHORIZED BY White Pines

Karen Gerken, Owner of White Pines Golf Course wants the local community to know that there is a scam targeting business owners to purchase advertising space in "Yardage" book or "Official Course Guide" book by a company called Bench Craft Company.  This is a scam and has not been authorized by Karen Gerken at White Pines Golf Course.  Be aware that this is not a legitimate advertising opportunity. The Ohio Attorney General's office has been contacted regarding this situation.

Candidate Academy- Running A Winning Campaign

Deadline to Register Is Fast Approaching

Register Now- Classes Start October 3rd.

The Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Candidate Academy is a NON-PARTISAN program designed for individuals considering a run for local, county, regional, and state public office.
The purpose of the Chamber’s Candidate Academy is to educate community members within the Anthony Wayne area on all the various components and the sometimes harsh realities of a political campaign.

The Candidate Academy is a three-evening seminar course designed for individuals considering running for all levels of public office. Each session educates potential political candidates on exactly what it takes to stage a campaign
for public office. The three week class is non-partisan, informational only and does not in any way ensure that the Chamber will endorse you for public office.
Each week’s session will be comprised of a topic area where the speakers will make presentations with a question and answer at the end of the presentation.
Each speaker will provide the Academy participants with hand-outs and/or other materials critical to the evening’s topic, as necessary.
