AMERICAN PICKERS To Film In Ohio!

Filming Will Begin in October

Ohio is excited to welcome Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and Antique Archeology to the area. The team will film episodes of their hit series AMERICAN PICKERS throughout Ohio. Filming is scheduled for October.

AMERICAN PICKERS is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique ‘picking’ on History. This hit show follows two of the most skilled pickers in the business, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, as they embark on an epic road trip across the U.S. in search of America’s most valuable antiques from motorcycles, classic cars and bicycles to one-of-a-kind vintage memorabilia. Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle America, restore forgotten relics to their former glory, and learn a thing or two about American history along the way.

AMERICAN PICKERS is looking for leads and would love to explore what you may have. They are on the hunt for interesting characters with interesting and unique items.  Some of what they look for: vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, vintage musical equipment, vintage automotive items, early firefighting equipment, vintage clothing, pre-50’s western gear.

AMERICAN PICKERS is produced by Cineflix Productions for History. New episodes air Wednesdays at 9pm ET on History.

If you have a large collection or want to refer someone to Mike and Frank, email: your name, number, address and description of the collection and photos to: americanpickers@cineflix.com 855-old-rust.

Chamber Chatter: Accepting Credit Card Could Cost Your Business Dearly

Dear Fellow Chamber Member,

If your business accepts credit cards you are in for a BIG surprise called the "EMV Liability Shift." On October 1, 2015, there will be a change in the way responsibility is determined for consumers who experience a theft from their credit or debit cards.

In the simplest terms, this means that the cost of fraudulent charges on certain kinds of credit and debit card transactions will be determined solely by the technology used in the transaction. Whoever has the least EMV-compliant technology—either the merchant processing the transaction or the card issuer—will be liable for the costs of the fraudulent charge.

Such a shift could have huge financial implications for businesses, especially since card issuers have typically borne the bulk of fraud liability. To minimize the impact of this shift on your business, it’s important to understand what EMV is, why it’s being adopted as the new standard, and what the new technology will and won’t do in terms of minimizing risk.

To learn more about this important change to credit card liability check out our whitepaper, "Risk Insights: EMV Liability Shift." By visiting www.divinsurance.com/accepting-credit-could-cost-you-dearly. It explains what it means and what you have to do as a business owner.

We urge our clients and all business owners to take the need for Data Breach Cyber Liability Insurance seriously and we strive to provide resources that will help you stay vigilant on ways you can protect your business. In the past many businesses have had a sense of security from the thought process that the card companies would take care of these thefts, but October 1st will have a big financial impact on any business that accepts credit.

Visit our website at www.divinsurance.com/cyber-liability-insurance for more information and resources for Cyber Liability coverage, including a link to a Data Breach Risk Calculator.
Contact us for more information on how to avoid the consequences of this change that will prove to be catastrophic for businesses that are not prepared and covered.

Sincerely,
Robert Keogh
