A Message from the President & CEO

2015 Impact

Dear Valued Chamber Members;

2016 promises to be another great year for the Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce.  As we continue to further enhance your member experience and provide you with additional opportunities to network, expose your business, and capitalize on our exciting growth; we will be rolling out several new member-valued benefit programs this year.

Since the creation of The Chamber Partnership, which was formed by the Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber, we have continued to strengthen our opportunities and capture additional cost-saving programs based upon our geographical area in which we service. The Chamber Partnership™ is the strategic alliance of the Anthony Wayne Regional™, Holland-Springfield™, and the Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chambers of Commerce™. This alliance integrates infrastructure, professional expertise, small business resources and benefits, along with access to a larger network of businesses to grow the local economies of scale. Our members are provided a premium experience with individual engagement with a small business focus. Each Chamber remains independent and autonomous to ensure that our communities we represent are equally served and focused upon. We are proud to serve over 675 businesses and organizations throughout the region.

In 2015, we had 402 members engaged between the 25 webinars hosted and the 10 Lunch & Learns which provided both small business development and educational content to assist our members. We also had 51 business and retention visits done with outreach into 60 Latino-based businesses within our market.

We are excited about the growth for 2016! We look forward to continuing our mission in providing the best level of services that will support our members (YOU), sponsors and partners to ensure that your interests and expectations are met or exceeded.
Please contact the Chamber office with any questions or if we can be of further assistance.

Onward;

Josh Torres, CCEO-AP

A Message From the Chief Operating Officer On the New Year!

From the Chief Operating Officer’s Desk:

-----
First, I would personally like to wish you and your business a Happy New Year. We, at the chamber, are excited for what 2016 will have in store for you as a member. Secondly, I am still trying to get out and meet with everyone as I am still new to this chamber. I am sure that this will happen very soon.

One of the programs that I am have had a lot of experience with is our Chamber Energy Solutions Program (CES). This program is designed for you, the member, to help you with understanding the energy markets a little better. At its core, through the membership with the chamber, we provide you with an energy consultant. At any time you can ask CES questions about your usage, price, etc. This is all FREE to you through the membership cost. As an added bonus, CES also has the ability to work with several suppliers to potentially lower your cost of using electricity. Over the past few months in electric, we have seen price per kWh be as low as $0.059 or 5.9 cents. If you happen to look on your electric bill, they will usually place your price per kWh.

Look at what CES has said lately:
Electricity wholesale rates have experienced substantial drops across the board, mainly fueled by gas prices at 14 year lows.  As a result, now is an excellent time for members to contact Chamber Energy Solutions.   CES works with multiple suppliers in both gas and electric to provide competitive pricing on the generation/commodity portion of your bills.  Contact the Chamber or Emilie Snider of CES at 419-539-9180 ext. 117 to see what savings CES can offer you.

As we move ahead in to this New Year, please contact me directly if you have questions about this program or would like us to look into the cost for you! We are here to help you!!
---------

Sincerely,

Isaac R Lee, MBA, CCEO-AP
